16 UK cities have been named QS Best Student Cities 2024: London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Bristol, Coventry, Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Belfast, Sheffield, Aberdeen, Brighton, and Leicester. Most of the cities are in England, followed by Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The QS World University Ranking 2024, one of the most recognised and respected rankings of global universities, were unveiled in June 2023. The UK claims four out of the top ten positions. They are the University of Cambridge (2nd), the University of Oxford (3rd), Imperial College London(6th), and University College London (9th).
